Andrea Siaw

Andrea is an Australian Certified Practicing Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree major in Accounting and Finance from Murdoch University.

After a couple of years stint in a local merchant bank as the Settlement Clerk, she pursued her study abroad, Australia. Andrea embarked her career in Kuala Lumpur soon after she graduated. She began Financial Accounting role with healthcare companies; Merck, Sharp and Dohme (MSD), Roche Diagnostics, and was hired by Cooper Vision in 2012 and spent her seven years as the Financial Accountant and later Finance Manager. In the last couple of years with the company she took leadership as the local Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) on their Oracle implementation project with intensive hours on liaising with the project stakeholders and cross-cultural communication while balancing this and managing the Finance team on their daily activities.

Just shy of a year, 2019 November, Andrea was appointed as the Financial Controller of TBWA\Kuala Lumpur. She leads a diverse role with our agency in managing the Operation teams; IT and administration, HR, business partner to the Managing Director. She also heads the Finance team on financial reporting, ensuring compliance with audit and regulations, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring spending to maintaining positive revenue and financial growth, forecasting, ensuring accuracy of financial information.
